MSAC to educate fair goers about sedimentation problems in Missouri
River reservoirs
Learn more about problems associated with
accumulating sediment in the Missouri River
reservoirs at the South Dakota State Fair in Huron, Thursday, Sept. 1
through Monday, Sept. 5.
The Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition is hosting a booth in the
Arts and Education
building. Video presentations will run twice daily giving viewers
glimpses of the sediment
problem and history of the Missouri River reservoir system. There will
be time for comments following
each presentation.

Thursday, Sept. 1: 9 a.m. (8 minute video);

Friday, Sept 2: 9 a.m. (8 minute video);

MSAC will unveil its new, full-color display with aerial and historical
photos. Special thanks to

The public is invited to stop by the booth for more sediment information
or to join the
coalition. It will be open 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
